Terms of use

Last updated: 16 October 2026. By using Frappe !, you accept these terms. They are written to be read: if anything is unclear, ask us.

This is an English translation of the Conditions générales d'utilisation, provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

1. The game

Frappe ! is a free collecting game. The coins in the catalogue are flat reproductions of real euro coins, used for identification and numismatic culture. Owning a coin in the game confers no right over a real coin.

2. Account and minimum age

• An anonymous account is created on first launch. Your collection is stored on our servers and attached to this account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete my account). This deletion is irreversible.
• One account per person. Multiple accounts intended to get around the game's limits (referrals, trades) may be closed.
• The app is for people aged 16 and over. This threshold matches the PEGI 16 rating of games whose randomly drawn items can be obtained with real money (see article 3). Frappe ! contains no gambling and no violent or sexual content: nothing obtained in the game can be converted into money.

3. In-game currency and purchases

• Frappes (₣) are a virtual currency with no monetary value. They can neither be transferred between players, nor converted into money, nor resold outside the game.
• Packs of coins arrive for free: one every 10 minutes, and others through the game itself (return gifts, factory milestones, the challenges chest, rewarded videos, referrals).
• Purchases with random items. The shop also sells packs whose coins are drawn at random (classic, gold, legendary, value, year and country packs). They can only be paid for in ₣; ₣ are earned in the game or bought with real money. The odds of each pack are shown before purchase, and the draw is made by our servers. No pack is sold for euros, except the daily bonus pack of the Engraver Pass (below). The shop's packs are not offered in Belgium; there, the pass's daily pack is replaced by 200 ₣ a day.
• The in-app purchases paid in euros are the welcome offer (once only: 4,500 ₣ and the factory's production ×2 for 24 h), ₣ offers (each has a minimum amount, which grows with your factory's production; the exact amount is shown before purchase and is the amount credited), the factory booster (×2 for 24 h), the Golden Screw Press (once only: your factory's production increased by 25%, for good), the Collector's Box (once only, offered from factory level 20 with no deadline: one day of your factory's production in ₣, at least 6,000 ₣, and production ×2 for 48 h), the monthly Engraver Pass (during the subscription: one bonus pack a day, one more doubled collection a day and 6 extra hours of factory storage) and « Change my coin » (article 4). Only the daily bonus pack of the Engraver Pass contains coins drawn at random; everything else has a certain content. The content and price of each purchase are shown before purchase; no offer is limited in time. The « No ads » offer has not been sold since 16 October 2026: all videos are already at the player's choice.
• Purchases are paid through Google Play or the App Store, which apply their own refund terms. The Engraver Pass renews every month until it is cancelled, from the subscriptions of Google Play or the App Store.
• Rewarded videos are never forced: they only start from a button that states the reward, within a daily limit (for example: doubled collection at the factory, a pack now, the evening pack, a boost to a challenge, one more coin in the pack you have just opened, a doubled sale at the bank). Personalised advertising is off by default; it is only turned on with your consent.

5. Friends and trades

• Trades take place between friends, from 1 to 5 coins for 1 to 5 coins, within a limit of one trade a day per friend. Each coin is worth its buy-back price at the bank: what the author of the trade offers must be worth at least what they ask for. An accepted trade is final.
• Buying a coin designed by another player is paid in ₣ to the game, never to the player.
• Any sale, trade or promise concerning game items outside the app is forbidden and has no effect.

6. Data and catalogue content

The coin images belong to their issuers and are reproduced in accordance with the rules set out on the Credits page. They cannot be extracted from the app. Mintage information and stories are provided for documentation, with their sources; errors remain possible and each coin page lets you report them. No real-world value is guaranteed.

7. Availability and changes

The game is provided « as is ». We may change the balancing rules (odds, prices in ₣, milestones) for the health of the game, announcing it in the app. Items already acquired are not withdrawn. If the service closes for good, at least 60 days' notice is given in the app.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and after an attempt at amicable resolution through the help page, the French courts have jurisdiction.
